Rudbeckia, 'Autumn Sunset'
Rudbeckia, 'Autumn Sunset'
(Rudbeckia hirta) Rudbeckias are cheerful, bright, long-lasting in the garden and vase and keep on blooming and blooming through light frosts. This particular variety is 2-3’ tall and stunningly covered with long stems ranging from single (rarely) to double to almost mum-like density 3-5” blooms in autumnal hues of gold, chocolate, burnt orange, bright yellow, mustard, and bicolors. While known to be a tender perennial in zones 9-10, they are certainly easy enough to start from seed year after year. Enjoy them!
