Growing Info

SOWING:

Sow indoors 8-10 weeks before your last frost.

Transplant out after last frost.

Direct seeding not recommended but by all means, let us know how it goes for you!

Note: Dependable, long blooming, and pollinator attracting.

PLANTING DEPTH:

Surface or lightly cover with vermiculite. Light is required for germination.

SPACING:

8-12" in rows 12" apart.

FERTILITY:

Average. Prefers well-drained, and evenly moist neutral soil but is tolerant of many soils.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Edible (but disliked by rabbits and deer), so sprinkle away!

If you like, pinch back growing stem (at 6 true leaves) for bushier plant.

Prefers cool weather.
